Moosicology is a family-run educational brand making music learning fun and accessible for children aged 0–7 with a unique series of educational Lessons that use a neuroscience-based method to teach real music skills through music.  The series is filled with colourful characters, engaging songs, stories, and activation tracks designed specifically to teach children fundamental music skills

Founded in 2014 by music educator Liisa Henriksson, Moosicology grew from her mission to bring real music theory into early childhood education. Drawing on research in child development and cognitive science, the Moosicology Method helps young children develop rhythm, pitch, and memory through engaging narratives and original songs.

Following Liisa’s sudden passing, her partner Travis and their son have relaunched Moosicology as a tribute to her life’s work — continuing her vision of using music to unlock every child’s potential.

Moosicology’s resources have reached families and schools worldwide and were previously featured on BBC Breakfastalongside Alex James (Blur), where Liisa discussed her groundbreaking book The Music Miracle: The Scientific Secret to Unlocking Your Child’s Full Potential.

The Moosicology Bite-Size Series currently includes 16 individual lesson books, each a complete, story-based introduction to a core concept in music theory for children aged 0–7.
Three additional lessons are already in development.

Each book blends a narrative adventure with original songs, illustrations, and guided listening activities — allowing even the youngest learners to build real musical understanding through play.
